White PP with PET clear liner

White PP with PET clear liner

White PP  is the most commonly used material in roll label printing due to its exceptional durability and waterproof properties. White PP label material is a plastic film material that has great clarity, is resistant to UV rays, has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. The waterproof nature of white Polypropylene also makes it perfect for labeling products that will be exposed to moisture or liquids, such as food and beverage packaging, health and beauty products, and outdoor equipment. Overall, white Polypropylene is an excellent choice for companies looking to create high-quality labels that will stand up to everyday use. Its toughness and waterproof properties make it a popular choice for a wide range of products, and its ability to be printed with high-quality designs and branding make it a versatile and effective option for roll label printing.

There may be other alternative names for this material: White OPP,  White Polypropylene film, White plastic film, etc.

All surface finishing options (gloss, matte laminations, UV Varnish, etc.) are available for White PP material.

Liner: 1mil PET liner

PET liners, or polyethylene terephthalate clear liners, are commonly used in the roll label industry as release liners. Here are some key points:

  • Strength and durability: PET clear liners are known for their strength and durability, which ensures that the liner can withstand the stresses of the roll-to-roll label manufacturing process without tearing or breaking.
  • Dimensional stability: PET clear liners have excellent dimensional stability, which means they do not stretch or shrink significantly under varying environmental conditions. This ensures that the labels remain aligned and do not distort during printing, die-cutting, or application processes.
  • Smoothness: PET clear liners are typically very smooth, which allows for smooth and consistent release of the label from the liner. This is critical to achieve clean and professional-looking labels without any adhesive residue or streaks.
  • Adhesive: Waterborne acrylic permanent adhesive. Designed specifically for applications requiring good initial tack and ultimate adhesion as well as good heat resistance.

Minimum Application Temperature: 23 °F

Service Temperature: -20 to 212 °F

Not recommended for labeling highly curved surfaces.
